Indian IT giants TIW [TCS,Infy,Wipro] should be marking a new milestone in their growth history.
The companies are being invited to bid on large projects that were not open to them in the past.

What does this mean?
  1. The Indian biggies are gonna get bigger - Big Deals Big Bucks
  2. Take head-on with EDS,Accenture,IBMs of the world
  3. Take the customer's staff and customer IT assets as surrogates and manage them profitably

$350 Mn deal from BT to Tech-Mahindra

India's sixth-largest software exporter by sales, is a joint venture between BT and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India's biggest utility vehicle and tractor maker. The company develops software for telecom service providers and telecom equipment makers and its clients include BT, AT&T Inc., Alcatel SA, and Vodafone. Under the current deal, Tech Mahindra will provide application maintenance and support services for BT, the Indian company said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange
